Chittagong, located in Bangladesh, is also one of the ports with serious congestion. Recently, the port authority issued a new entry container regulation.

The regulation states that from December 1, 2021, all imported containers must be sealed with bullets.

The purpose of this is to ensure that the goods will not be damaged or lost on the way to the port and to the factory.

The person in charge of the Port Authority said that if you do not do so, the port workers will have the right to refuse to accept your container and refuse to unload your container at the terminal.

It also said: "it is better and convenient to seal the container with bullets. In order to ensure the safety of the container, all imported containers must have bullet seals, not plastic or metal steel.

In addition, the government also hopes to seal export containers with bullets, so as to avoid criminals stealing goods on the road.

In fact, there have been cases of container theft in the process of returning to and from factories and ports. Some garment manufacturers say they are facing significant economic losses because of the loss of goods.

Chittagong is the second largest city and the largest port in Bangladesh. Almost all imports and exports of Bangladesh pass through Chittagong. It is the economic center of Bangladesh, and its GDP accounts for a considerable proportion of the country.
