Now, as the epidemic began to rebound in some areas, many countries have entered a state of emergency epidemic prevention. Vietnam is one of them.

Especially in the case of virus mutation, Vietnam's epidemic prevention work was under great pressure and was on the verge of losing control.

Although the local government has taken many tough measures, such as isolation measures for the whole society. But this is the impact on people's lives.

The Ho Chi Minh City Government of Vietnam announced the implementation of "enhanced version" social isolation measures since August 23. In addition, the government will also send a number of medical teams to the hardest hit areas to treat confirmed patients.

The epidemic has had a huge impact on the country's logistics industry. Factory closures have left a large number of workers unemployed, while the shortage of manpower has also led to a decline in the turnover rate of goods.

According to relevant statistics, less than 25% of factories in Vietnam can maintain normal operation.

As a major garment exporter in the world, most garment manufacturing factories have been closed, and nearly 80% of the industry supply chain has been seriously affected.

On the other hand, as the Christmas season is coming, the United States needs to buy some goods from Vietnam. However, the impact of the epidemic makes this activity difficult to carry out.

At the same time, American production plants in Vietnam have also been seriously impacted. If it continues, the consequences will be unimaginable.

At present, port congestion and container shortage still exist, and the price of sea freight remains high. Many manufacturers have to consider other modes of transportation.

Large quantities of goods began to shift to air transportation

Compared with sea transportation, the transportation efficiency of air transportation is guaranteed. The closure of factories and the congestion of ports have led to the accumulation of a large number of goods.

More and more Vietnamese manufacturers want to deliver goods to consumers quickly, so they turn their eyes to air transportation.

"Now the efficiency of the factory is greatly reduced. If we continue to use sea transportation, the cycle will become very long, so we have to consider air transportation." A professional freight forwarding company said.

As a result, air freight has risen sharply

Obviously, the epidemic still has an impact on the air transport capacity. The reduction of flights and staff will lead to a decline in the capacity.

Some logistics companies said that because a large number of manufacturers transported goods by air, the cargo plane space in the country was insufficient, resulting in an increase in air freight and a doubling of the price.
