In March of this year, SCPA transported 248,786 TEUs between the Port of Charleston and the North Charleston Wharf. According to past container records, before this, the record for the most containers was 233,110 TEUs set in August 2019.

But in March 2020, due to the impact of COVID-19, SCPA only processed 185,631 TEUs.
