Shenzhen, China – July 17, 2024 – The Guangdong Logistics Industry Association (GLIA) made a landmark visit to the GLA Global Logistics Alliance headquarters in Shenzhen, marking a significant step towards enhancing collaboration and bridging the gap for Chinese companies entering the global market. During the meeting, delegates from GLIA and GLA President Ms. Grace Sun, along with the GLA team, discussed strategies to enhance logistics efficiency and foster economic cooperation among various countries. This dialogue underscored the importance of a comprehensive logistics support system for Chinese enterprises.


President Ma Renhong provided an overview of GLIA’s mission and efforts to promote regional logistics development and support enterprises. He emphasized the "Belt and Road Initiative" as an international Logistics Corridor Project, which aims to facilitate smooth logistics across Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and beyond, supporting Chinese enterprises to "go global." The project’s core objectives include optimizing resource allocation, strengthening regional cooperation, and enhancing China's position in the international logistics network.

GLIA is driving the transformation and upgrading of the logistics industry through policy formulation, industrial layout, and technological innovation. Future plans include establishing international logistics cooperation platforms, guiding capital investments, and advancing technology applications to accelerate the formation of a global logistics network.


GLA President Ms. Grace Sun highlighted the necessity of a comprehensive logistics support system for Chinese enterprises. GLA’s vision includes establishing regular exchange mechanisms and cooperation projects to align resources, enhance information exchange, foster technological cooperation, and expand market reach, thus driving mutual growth.

The 11th GLA Global Logistics Conference is scheduled for November 22-25, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand. This conference will showcase leading international logistics technologies and provide over 100,000 one-on-one meeting opportunities for global enterprises. With over 2,000 enterprise representatives from more than 130 countries expected to attend, the conference aims to bring new perspectives and standards to the logistics industry, promoting sustainable development. Executive Vice President Liang Yuxia highlighted that this conference boosts trade logistics in China, Southeast Asia, and worldwide.


The meeting laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between GLIA and GLA. Both parties are committed to enhancing logistics efficiency, promoting trade, and driving sustainable development.
