Cainiao and DHL jointly invest 60 million euros in Poland
Cainiao and Deutsche Post DHL Group (DHL) announced that DHL will acquire part of the shares of Cainiao’s Polish subsidiary. The two parties plan to jointly invest 60 million euros in the first phase.
As the first step of the cooperation, Cainiao and DHL will merge their existing self-collection locker networks in Poland and jointly operate the existing 1,200 sets of self-collection lockers. At the same time, based on DHL's existing self-pickup points in Poland, convenient and easy-to-use intelligent self-pickup cabinets are installed in key locations. DSV announces 2022 results, gross profit up 33%
Logistics giant DSV posts strong financial performance in 2022. Among them, gross profit increased by more than 30%, profit before interest and taxes (EBIT) increased by nearly 50%, and adjusted free cash flow more than doubled from the previous year.
Specifically, for the full year of 2022, DSV achieved operating income of US$34.179 billion, a year-on-year increase of 24.3%; gross profit reached DKK 52.149 billion; profit before interest and taxes before deducting special items reached DKK 25.204 billion; operating profit margin reached 10.7 %; the current net profit reached about 2.563 billion US dollars. C.H. Robinson 2022 Q4 Freight Revenue Down 53% YoY
The interim management of freight forwarding giant C.H. Robinson announced the results for the fourth quarter of 2022 in the earnings conference call.
Much of the financial drag on C.H. Robinson came from its global freight division, whose total fourth-quarter revenue fell 52.7% year-over-year; adjusted gross profit fell 39% year-over-year, from $310 million to $190 million; operations Earnings fell 80.8%, from $150 million to $28.22 million.
