The Challenge

Managing the logistics for a major European FMCG manufacturer requires flawless precision. Colian Holding S.A., operating six distinct production plants, needed a centralized, highly reliable logistics architecture to handle the sheer volume of its output. The challenge involved not only the physical transport of millions of goods but also maintaining strict temperature controls (12–18°C) for sensitive products, managing raw material imports via sea freight, and ensuring zero bottlenecks in distribution to end consumers across Europe and beyond.

The Solution

To solve this, Colian Logistic developed a robust, multimodal supply chain network. We deployed our proprietary fleet of 450 modern delivery trucks, supported by a trusted network of 100 dedicated forwarding partners, to ensure guaranteed daily capacity.

For storage and distribution, we routed operations through our four specialized logistics centers. Our flagship hub in Kostrzyn Wielkopolski (19,000 m²) was equipped with advanced automation and precise temperature control to safely house 26,000 pallets, while our fully automated facility in Opatówek provided an additional 27,000 pallet positions. Furthermore, we integrated our sea freight division to smoothly handle inbound container shipments of raw materials and outbound global exports.

The Results

The implemented network successfully executes over 200,000 transport orders every year without fail. Annually, Colian Logistic safely and efficiently transports over 6,000,000 pallets.

Today, Colian Logistic extends this exact same proven, high-capacity infrastructure to our international partners within the Global Logistics Alliance (GLA).
