Mr. Kim Hwanyong, CEO of Royal GLS Co., Ltd., was honored with the Commissioner of the Korea Customs Service Award at the 2024 Proud International Logistics Contributors Awards Ceremony, held on February 27 at the International Conference Hall of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul.

The international logistics industry is an essential industry in international trade that is rapidly increasing day by day, and it is a business that must report to the customs authorities and complete customs clearance procedures for each case.

This recognition by the Korea Customs Service reflects the company’s remarkable achievements over its 21-year history, as well as its dedicated cooperation in facilitating and advancing Korea’s customs administration.

Additionally, Mr. Kim’s 42 years of unwavering commitment to the international logistics sector and his contributions to enhancing the competitiveness of Korea’s logistics industry were key factors in this recognition.

Last year, the company celebrated its 20th anniversary with a grand ceremony and commemorative concert at the Mapo Garden Hotel Convention Center. Since 2015, Mr. Kim has also served as an executive of the Korea International Freight Forwarders Association, contributing to the advancement of the international logistics industry.
