Recent drone attacks on trade vessels have compelled rerouting measures, leading to significant disruptions in supply chains. Many of the major shipping lines are now avoiding transiting the Suez Canal, and the vessels will be rerouted to the Cape of Good Hope. This will add around 9 000 kilometers to the journey, resulting in additional 10-20 days of transit time.
